🚨 Berlin Band Drops Viral Whale Song, Internet Explodes! You HAVE to See This! 🐋💥

Okay, so a Berlin rock band called Tulpe just unleashed a song about the Baltic Sea whale, and it’s causing an absolute FRENZY online! We’re talking millions of views and a comment section that’s a total warzone. 🔥

What’s the HYPE about?

The song, titled ‘Sprengt den Wal’ (Blow Up the Whale), is a satirical take on the whole whale situation. And let’s just say, they didn’t hold back. Here’s a little taste of the lyrics:

“Sprengt den Wal, macht ihn weg, lasst es Wal-Salami regnen und Kotelett.”

Yep, they’re literally singing about blowing up the whale and making whale salami! 🤯

And it gets even wilder! They even dragged Donald Trump into it:

“Frag’ mal jemand Donald Trump, ob der ihn nicht sprengen kann, sag’ ihm: “Timmy ist ein erdölreiches Land”.”

Seriously, they asked if Trump could blow it up, calling the whale ‘Timmy’ an ‘oil-rich land.’ You can’t make this stuff up! 😂

Instagram is ON FIRE! 🔥

One of their song videos on Instagram has racked up a mind-blowing 4.6 MILLION views! The internet is officially obsessed. But not everyone’s laughing…

  • Team ‘Genius!’: Many users are cracking up, calling the band ‘divine’ and praising their humor.
  • Team ‘Too Far!’: Others are NOT amused, slamming the lyrics as ‘tasteless’ and ‘completely out of line.’

So, what’s YOUR take? Hilarious satire or a step too far? Let us know in the comments! 👇

The Band Speaks Out! 🎤

Tulpe’s frontman, Joachim Foerster, told the German Press Agency (dpa) that their music always tackles current topics, which usually gets a big reaction. But even THEY were shocked by this one!

“We wrote the first verse without much thought – suddenly we had 1.5 million views the next morning. It was clear then: the second verse had to be perfect.”

They even included some of the hate messages they received in a video. Foerster says ‘shitstorms’ are just part of being a rock band. 🤷♂️

He also pointed out the irony: a creature symbolizing Earth’s ‘primal state’ is now inspiring ‘countless tasteless AI songs.’ Yep, apparently, there are a ton of emotional, AI-generated songs out there calling for the whale’s rescue. It’s a whole thing! 🤖🎶

Not the First Time This Whale’s Been Roasted! 🐳😂

This isn’t the first time the humpback whale has been the target of satire. There’s even a parody website, ‘Wal-O-Mat,’ where you can test your stance on the rescue efforts.

And of course, social media has been buzzing about ‘Timmy’ (or ‘Hope,’ as some call it) for weeks. TikTok and Instagram are flooded with memes making fun of the whole situation. Meanwhile, some users are actually criticizing politicians for how they’re handling the whale! 🤦♀️

What’s Next for Tulpe?

Given this explosive reaction, it’s safe to say Tulpe isn’t going anywhere. They’ve tapped into something HUGE, and whether you love ’em or hate ’em, you can’t deny they’ve got everyone talking.

So, Berlin, what do you think? Are Tulpe’s lyrics pure genius, or have they gone too far? Drop your thoughts below! 👇
