German Golf Quintet Confirms Participation in BMW International Open in Munich

Following Martin Kaymer, Freddy Schott, Nicolai von Dellingshausen, Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, and Max Kieffer have also committed to their home tournament, which runs from July 1st to 5th. The 37th edition of this traditional event will also see Masters champions Patrick Reed from the USA and Sergio Garcia from Spain compete.
Kaymer Remains the Only German Winner
To date, Martin Kaymer is the only German to have won the BMW International Open. His victory in 2008 made him the youngest champion at 23 years and 177 days, securing his place in the history books of Germany’s sole DP World Tour event. Last year, Daniel Brown from England claimed the title at Eichenried, north of Munich.
