Car Drives into Crowd at Berlin CSD: One Dead, Multiple Injured
Berlin, July 25 – A car drove into a crowd of people attending the Christopher Street Day (CSD) parade near the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on Wednesday evening. The incident has left at least one person dead and numerous others injured, some critically. The large-scale event, which drew hundreds of thousands of visitors, was immediately cancelled.
Emergency Services on Scene, Extensive Search Underway
Emergency services, including over 150 firefighters and a large police contingent, were immediately dispatched to the scene in Tiergarten. Police spokesperson Florian Nath confirmed that a white vehicle drove along Ahornsteig before crashing into a tree, bringing it to a halt. He reported “numerous injured people,” some of whom were still being resuscitated on site. An extensive manhunt for the perpetrator(s) is currently underway, utilizing helicopters and specialized units.

According to a fire department spokesperson, at least one person died at the scene.
