Munich, August 17 – The Munich traffic police carried out a targeted operation against the tuning scene over the weekend, resulting in 21 violations. The controls, which took place from Saturday, August 15, to Sunday, August 16, focused on noise, speeding, and illegal vehicle modifications, particularly in the city center and western districts.
Intensified Controls Following Public Complaints
The operation, which ran from 8 PM to 4 AM, concentrated on areas such as Maxvorstadt, Schwabing, Neuhausen, Olympiapark, Moosach, and Milbertshofen. These measures were prompted by repeated complaints from residents regarding disruptive driving behavior and vehicle noise during night and weekend hours.
