Hanseatic Apprenticeship Exchange: Companies Showcase Opportunities

Hamburg, September 1 – The Hanseatic Apprenticeship Exchange is taking place today and tomorrow at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. Around 120 companies looking for apprentices are presenting themselves at the event.

Among the participating companies are Hamburger Hochbahn, the drugstore chain Budnikowsky, Hamburg Airport, and various firms from the tourism sector. From the port, shipping companies MSC and CMA CGM, as well as the operators of the Eurogate Terminal, are represented.

Last-Minute Stands Offer Immediate Opportunities

Peter Feder, a spokesperson for the Chamber of Commerce, highlighted the benefit of personal interaction. For those eager to start an apprenticeship immediately, there are still positions available at the last-minute stand. Currently, these include apprenticeship roles for specialists in port and warehouse logistics, industrial and real estate clerks, truck drivers or service drivers, and concrete and reinforced concrete builders.

Hamburg’s Largest Dual Vocational Training Fair

The Hanseatic Apprenticeship Exchange is recognized as Hamburg’s largest fair for dual vocational training. According to the Chamber of Commerce, more than 7,000 students attended last year’s event.

Over 3,000 Unfilled Apprenticeship Positions in Hamburg
