Munich, September 11 – Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a shooting that occurred last Tuesday evening in Schleißheimer Straße. The incident, which left a 33-year-old man seriously injured, is believed to be linked to drug-related crime.

The shooting took place around 9:45 PM at the corner of Schleißheimer Straße and Neuherbergstraße. According to police reports, three men met at this location, leading to an altercation. During the dispute, one of the now-arrested suspects allegedly drew a pistol and fired several shots at the victim.
The 33-year-old man was struck in the upper body, sustaining severe injuries. He underwent emergency surgery and has since been discharged from the hospital.
The homicide commission, investigating the case as an attempted homicide, identified two men, aged 24 and 25, as prime suspects. Early Wednesday morning, a special deployment unit raided their apartment and took them into custody. Both individuals are currently in pre-trial detention.
