Berlin, September 15, 2026 – An 85-year-old pedestrian sustained life-threatening head injuries yesterday afternoon in Berlin-Zehlendorf after being hit by a car reversing in the street. The man was transported to a hospital for inpatient treatment, police reported.

While reversing several meters, the driver reportedly overlooked the pedestrian. The pedestrian was crossing the roadway from a median strip when the accident took place.
