Man Arrested for Exhibitionist Act in Munich Swimming Pool
Munich, September 20 – A 53-year-old man was arrested yesterday following an exhibitionist act in the sauna area of a swimming pool in the Maxvorstadt district. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, September 19, 2026, around 12:15 PM, involved the man performing sexual acts on himself in front of two women.
Incident Details and Police Response
According to police reports, the 53-year-old Bulgarian national, who does not have a permanent residence, maintained continuous eye contact with the two women, aged 66 and 63, during the act. The swimming pool staff were informed of the incident and subsequently contacted the police.
Upon arrival, officers apprehended the suspect. He was then transferred to the detention facility of the Munich Police Headquarters. A judge was scheduled to decide on his pre-trial detention later that day. The ongoing investigation is being handled by Commissioner’s Office 15.
