Berlin Police Investigate String of Graffiti Vandalism Across Town

BERLIN, Md. – The Berlin Police Department is actively investigating a series of graffiti vandalism incidents that have been reported across the town. Authorities received multiple complaints on Tuesday morning, April 14, 2026, regarding graffiti at several locations.

Surveillance Footage Captures Suspects

Surveillance video obtained by police shows two suspects spray-painting the Evergreen Lodge, located in the 100 block of North Main Street, at approximately 10:41 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026. Following the incident, the suspects were observed running south on Main Street and then east on Pitts Street.

Similar graffiti markings have since been discovered at other sites throughout the town, indicating a coordinated series of acts of vandalism.

Additional Location Identified, More Footage Recovered

In a subsequent update, the Berlin Police Department confirmed that an additional location on Franklin Avenue has been identified with similar graffiti. Furthermore, more surveillance footage of the suspects involved in these incidents has been successfully recovered by investigators.

Public Assistance Requested

The Berlin Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding these vandalism incidents, or anyone who may possess additional surveillance video that could aid in the investigation, to come forward.
