Burgermeister Expands in Munich: Second Location Opens in Türkenstraße
Munich, April 10 – The popular Berlin-based burger chain, “Burgermeister,” has announced the opening of its second Munich location this weekend in Türkenstraße. This expansion comes just months after the successful launch of its first store in the city, signaling a growing demand for the brand’s freshly prepared burgers.
The company stated in response to an inquiry that, “Following the great success of our first store in Munich, we immediately began searching for additional locations.” The premises at Türkenstraße 71 reportedly met all requirements perfectly, being located on a “highly frequented street in Munich, offering the best conditions to reach many guests.”
First Munich Store Opened in 2025
Burgermeister first established its presence in Munich in June 2025, opening its inaugural store at Wedekindplatz. This initial opening, which took over the former site of the popular Occam Deli, generated significant public interest. The demand for their freshly prepared burgers was exceptionally high, with the company reporting that approximately 3,000 burgers were sold on the opening day alone.
The new Türkenstraße location aims to replicate this success. To celebrate its grand opening, Burgermeister is offering a special promotion: burgers will be available at half price until Monday. The company anticipates a large turnout, though the exact number of burgers sold and the crowd size remain to be seen.
Rabattaktion zum Start: Burger zum halben Preis
The new Burgermeister outlet spans approximately 160 square meters, featuring 18 standing places and around 16 outdoor seating options. This latest opening is not the end of the chain’s expansion plans in Munich. The company has indicated its intention to open further branches in the city in the future, underscoring its commitment to the Munich market.
Founded in Berlin in 2006, Burgermeister has grown significantly over the years. It now boasts 30 locations across Germany and Poland, including 16 branches in its home city of Berlin, and others in major German cities such as Frankfurt, Cologne, and Stuttgart. The continued expansion into Munich highlights the chain’s strategic growth and the enduring popularity of its burger offerings.
