Federal Minister Prien Visits Hamburg School, 215 Million Euros for Education Program
Hamburg, May 30th – Federal Education Minister Karin Prien (CDU) visited the Osterbrook Primary School in Hamburg-Hamm yesterday, Thursday, May 29th, to gather information on the implementation of the ‘Startchancen-Programm’. This initiative is designed to provide targeted support to students from socio-economically disadvantaged neighborhoods.
The ‘Startchancen-Programm’, launched nationwide two years ago, focuses on strengthening educational outcomes. In Hamburg, 91 schools are currently participating in the program.

At Osterbrook Primary School in Hamm, the school day begins with a session of communal loud reading.
