According to police reports, a 44-year-old man allegedly assaulted another man of the same age near the World Clock, causing a bleeding facial injury. Police were able to locate the suspected assailant nearby.

Attack During Arrest Leads to Multiple Detentions

During the arrest, two companions of the suspect, aged 28 and 45, repeatedly feigned punching and stabbing motions before physically attacking the officers. When these two individuals were being apprehended, a 47-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman intervened, also behaving aggressively. Police officers deployed pepper spray to control the situation.

High Alcohol Levels Among Suspects

All four men and the woman were subsequently taken into custody. Alcohol tests revealed that three of the individuals had blood alcohol levels between two and three per mille, while two others exceeded three per mille. Four of the arrested individuals were later released. However, the 28-year-old man was transferred to a correctional facility due to an existing arrest warrant.

One police officer sustained minor injuries during the incident. The background of the altercation remains under investigation.
