Hertha Women’s Football Team Loses Historic Second Division Debut
Bochum, August 2 – Hertha BSC’s women’s football team suffered a setback in their historic 2. Bundesliga premiere, losing 0-3 (0-2) to VfL Bochum. Nina Lange (14th minute), Adrienne Jordan (45th), and Anna Marques (75th) secured the victory for Bochum, handing coach Tobias Kurbjuweit’s team a defeat in their first-ever second division match.
Viktoria Berlin Starts Season with a Win
In contrast, Viktoria Berlin began their new season with a convincing 3-1 victory against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
