Munich, January 31 – The Josef and Luise Kraft Foundation has acquired a large commercial site for its Kraft Baustoffe GmbH. The company will relocate from Parsdorf to the new location in Munich’s east starting March 2026.
Strategic Relocation to Moosfeld
The Josef and Luise Kraft Foundation has purchased an 11,500 square meter commercial property in Munich-Moosfeld. This strategic acquisition will see Kraft Baustoffe GmbH, a subsidiary of the foundation, open a new branch at this location in March 2026. Concurrently, the company will close its existing site in nearby Parsdorf.
The entire team from the Parsdorf branch will transfer to the new location at Valentin-Linhof-Straße 11. The current tenant of the property, Raab Karcher, has mutually agreed to terminate its lease.
A Foundation with Business Acumen
This major acquisition is not driven by a typical investor group. The Josef and Luise Kraft Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting elderly people in need. It is the sole owner of the Kraft corporate group.
The profits generated from the operational business, including the new building materials trade, are directly channeled into the foundation’s philanthropic work. “This structure enables long-term and strategic investments,” explained a company spokesperson. Dr. Harald Mosler serves as the Chairman of the Foundation’s Board.
Why Moosfeld?
The Moosfeld district in eastern Munich has emerged as a prominent commercial hub. The advantages of this location are clear:
- Logistics: Direct access to the A94 motorway and proximity to the New Munich Trade Fair.
- Industry Mix: An established environment featuring high-tech companies, craft businesses, and media enterprises.
- Stability: The Munich real estate market is considered robust, particularly in locations with excellent transport links.
The establishment of a well-known building materials supplier further strengthens the commercial area. For Kraft, this relocation signifies a significant expansion of its operational footprint and a modernization of its market presence.
What Customers Can Expect at the New Location
Kraft plans to offer a comprehensive range of products and services at the spacious new site. The focus will be on:
- Materials for structural and civil engineering, as well as dry construction.
- A wide selection for garden and landscaping.
- Tools and workwear.
- A new showroom for tiles and floor coverings.
The company brings particular expertise in formwork accessories from its Parsdorf location. The new site is intended to become a central hub for professionals and private builders in the region.
This acquisition underscores a growing trend: in expensive Munich, well-connected commercial areas on the outskirts of the city are becoming increasingly attractive for expanding businesses.
