Berlin, April 27 – Police are investigating a machete attack in Berlin-Gesundbrunnen that left three men seriously injured, one with life-threatening head trauma. The incident occurred overnight on Friday in Schwedenstraße.
Violent Altercation in Schwedenstraße
According to initial police reports, at least two men were involved in an altercation that escalated from the use of irritant gas to at least one machete. A 21-year-old man sustained life-threatening head injuries, while a 28-year-old also suffered head wounds.
Third Victim Attacked Nearby
In addition to the initial confrontation, a 31-year-old man was attacked nearby and received multiple stab wounds. All three victims were transported to hospitals and are currently receiving inpatient treatment for their injuries.
Police Investigate Motive and Additional Suspects
Authorities have launched an investigation into the background of the attack and are working to identify any other individuals who may have been involved. Further details regarding the motive or potential suspects have not yet been released.
