MAKE AI WORK 2026: Hamburg AI Event Pits Human Speakers Against Artificial Intelligence
Hamburg, August 28, 2026 – The MAKE AI WORK 2026 conference, scheduled for October 23 and 24 in Hamburg, is set to introduce a groundbreaking format by featuring both human and artificial intelligence speakers. This unique event will see 36 human experts share their insights alongside 12 AI speakers, each with a distinct name, avatar, and independently generated presentations on a dedicated stage.
A Dual-Stage Experience: Human and Machine Perspectives on AI
The conference will be divided into two parallel stages. The “Human Stage,” located in the main hall of the House of AI, will host experts and practitioners from medium-sized businesses, self-employed individuals, and startups, who will share their real-world AI experiences. Concurrently, the smaller “Machine Stage” will run a program entirely generated by AI, encompassing research, argumentation, slides, and even the presentation voice-all without human intervention. The only presence on this stage will be a screen and an AI voice.
A notable feature of the “Machine Stage” will be a live Q&A session after each AI-generated presentation, where the audience can pose questions directly to the AI, which will respond in real-time, unfiltered, and unprepared.
“Every AI conference talks about what AI can do. We let it show – on our own stage, in direct comparison with human speakers. Whether the machine can keep up is for the audience to decide,” stated Tobias Worzyk, the initiator of the event.
