Shooting in Berlin-Wilmersdorf: Man Seriously Injured

Berlin, March 22 – A 23-year-old man was shot and seriously injured in Berlin-Wilmersdorf early Saturday morning. The incident occurred shortly before 6:00 AM on Brandenburgische Straße. According to police, the man was taken to the hospital with severe injuries, but his life is not believed to be in danger.

In the same incident, a 22-year-old man also sustained facial injuries and was hospitalized.

Investigation Underway

Details regarding the background of the shooting are still unclear. According to reports from the “BZ” newspaper, an altercation may have preceded the shooting. The alleged perpetrators reportedly fled the scene in multiple vehicles.

A homicide commission has launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and to ascertain if there is any connection to other recent shooting incidents in Berlin.
