Frankfurt – An 81-year-old man from Munich has been reported missing since Saturday, May 9, 2026, after he landed at Frankfurt Airport and failed to take his connecting flight. The West Hesse Police Headquarters issued a press release detailing the disappearance and appealing for public assistance in locating him.

81-Year-Old from Munich Arrives at Frankfurt Airport – Then Disappears

Hassen Jaouadi arrived at Frankfurt Airport on Friday, May 8, 2026, at approximately 3:30 PM, on a flight from Tunisia. His intention was to transfer to a connecting flight bound for Munich, the Bavarian capital. However, according to the West Hesse Police Headquarters, the senior never boarded this subsequent flight.

Since his arrival, there has been no contact with the missing person, and all search and investigative measures undertaken so far have yielded no results, as stated in the police report.

Eschborn Police Request Public Assistance – Missing Person Potentially in Helpless Situation

Given that investigators cannot rule out the possibility that the 81-year-old may be in a helpless situation, the Eschborn police station has issued a public appeal for assistance. Authorities are urgently requesting any information regarding the man’s whereabouts.

According to the description provided by the West Hesse Police Headquarters, Hassen Jaouadi is approximately 190 centimeters (6 feet 3 inches) tall, has a robust build, and medium-length grey hair. Details regarding his current clothing are not available to the investigators at this time.
