Hamburg, December 11, 2025 – The musical ‘Bethlehem’ is set to captivate audiences in Hamburg on December 21st at the Barclays Arena. This special rendition of the Christmas story will bring together an impressive 1500 singers on stage, promising a truly goosebump-inducing experience.
A Unique Ensemble of Voices
The musical, a production by Michael Kunze and Dieter Falk, will feature a blend of newly composed songs and beloved Christmas classics. What makes this performance particularly remarkable is the participation of local and regional choirs, alongside families and individuals not affiliated with any choir. This diverse group will create a powerful and moving vocal tapestry.
Heartfelt Contribution from the Nordkirche
The musical direction will be handled by Hamburg-based church musicians Charlotte Krohn and Jasmin Zaboli, as well as Patrick Zindorf from Flensburg, all active within the Nordkirche. The project receives support from various organizations, including the ‘Andere Zeiten’ association, with Evangelical church districts in Hamburg serving as project partners.
