Hamburg-Bramfeld, December 23 – A police pursuit in the Bramfeld district of Hamburg ended dramatically on Monday evening, culminating in a severe collision involving the fleeing vehicle and a public bus. The 37-year-old driver of the car sustained serious injuries, while four other individuals, including bus passengers, received minor injuries.
Police Attempted to Stop Suspect for Car Break-ins
According to a police spokesperson, officers initiated the pursuit in the Barmwisch street after attempting to stop and check the 37-year-old driver. The suspect was reportedly trying to break into cars. Instead of complying with the police’s instructions to stop, the man accelerated and attempted to evade capture, leading to the high-speed chase.
Collision with a Public Bus

In addition to the seriously injured driver, four other individuals suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision. These individuals included passengers who were on board the public bus at the time of the accident.
