Berlin, December 22 – Police in Berlin-Marienfelde seized multiple weapons and prohibited fireworks from a 12-year-old boy’s room, authorities announced. The discovery was made during a search conducted following a tip received through social media.

During the search, officers found a knife, two brass knuckles, and a blank-firing pistol with accessories. The 12-year-old reportedly admitted that the items belonged to him. Surprisingly, the boy’s father appeared unconcerned by the police presence and the discovery of the weapons.

Police were alerted to the situation via social media, where the items were allegedly being offered for sale. This incident is part of a broader crackdown by authorities on the illegal trade of fireworks, which often includes online monitoring.
