Berlin, June 5 – The Primestar Group is significantly expanding its June brand platform with the announcement of its largest project yet, the June Six & Stay Warschauer Platz. This combined hotel and extended-stay concept, featuring more than 350 units, is set to open in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district by 2028. The development will serve as the flagship property for the June brand, further solidifying Primestar’s position in the urban hotel market.
Primestar’s Largest Project to Date
The June Six & Stay Warschauer Platz will be the most extensive project within the June portfolio, marking a new milestone for the brand. This development will be the first to implement the combined hotel and extended-stay concept on such a large scale, offering a unique blend of hospitality solutions for travelers and urban residents.
Dr. Roland Rausch, Chairman and Owner of the Primestar Group, emphasized the significance of this undertaking: “The June Six & Stay Warschauer Platz is a groundbreaking project for our brand. It demonstrates how our integrated approach can be scaled in a European metropolis without losing the flexibility, design standards, and digital innovation that characterize June.” He added that the project would elevate the ‘June Hotel’ experience to a new level.
Historic Building Transformed into Modern Hub
The new hotel will be housed in a listed building near the Warschauer Platz S-Bahn station. Originally built in 1909 as a weaving school by Berlin’s city architect Ludwig Hoffmann, the building’s distinctive brick facade, large arched windows, and ornamental details will be preserved. The structure will be carefully redeveloped into a modern facility offering hotel accommodations, communal areas, and gastronomic options. An outdoor area with food and beverage services is also planned for the inner courtyard, continuing the ‘June Green Standard’ established at June Garda Lake.
Holistic Concept: Hotel, Living, and Working Combined
At the core of the project is a comprehensive concept that seamlessly integrates hospitality, living, and working. The June Six & Stay Warschauer Platz will feature boutique hotel rooms, extended-stay units, and WorX workspace offerings, creating a connected overall experience. Primestar states that this offering is aimed at travelers and urban users seeking flexible solutions for travel, work, and living.
Planned amenities include open lounge areas, diverse gastronomic concepts, and shared spaces. Guests will also have access to a June Barista Bar, a fitness area, a sauna, and laundry facilities for long-stay guests.
Focus on Digital Innovation
The property will boast extensive digital infrastructure designed to enhance the guest experience. The entire guest journey, from booking and WhatsApp-based check-in to AI-powered concierge services and smart room features, will be fully digitized. According to Primestar, this seamless integration of digital and physical touchpoints will improve both guest comfort and operational efficiency.
Ronald Giese, Managing Director of the Primestar Group, commented: “With this project, we are taking the next consistent step in the further development of our platform. The combination of size, location, and full integration of our ecosystem allows us to unleash June’s full potential and efficiently and future-orientedly connect hospitality, living, and working.”
The June Ecosystem Explained
The Warschauer Platz project further advances Primestar’s June brand platform. Following the opening of June Six Salzburg in March 2026 and the market entry of June Lux in the luxury segment, the Berlin venture marks another significant milestone in the evolution of the June ecosystem.
Primestar’s “travel.work.live.” ecosystem offers a modular and integrated approach that combines June Six, June Stay, and WorX to deliver a holistic guest experience. The group is also expanding its presence in Berlin, where the first June Six hotel opened four years ago at Savignyplatz. The new project in Friedrichshain will strengthen Primestar’s position in the capital and expand the growing Berlin June cluster.
The announcement of June Six & Stay Warschauer Platz coincides with the fourth anniversary of June Six and the opening of the first June Six Berlin, underscoring Primestar’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the city.
