Teenager Stabbed at Garden Party in Hamburg-Langenhorn
Hamburg, July 16 – A birthday celebration at a private residence in Hamburg-Langenhorn tragically turned violent on Wednesday evening. An 18-year-old male was stabbed multiple times during an altercation with a 17-year-old. The incident, which occurred around 8:45 PM, led to the immediate response of emergency services and the subsequent arrest of the alleged assailant.
The confrontation took place in the garden of a house on Moosbruch street. According to police reports, a dispute erupted between two young men, culminating in the 17-year-old drawing a knife and stabbing the 18-year-old three times. Paramedics and an emergency doctor provided immediate medical attention to the seriously injured victim at the scene before he was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
Suspect Injured During Escape Attempt
Following the stabbing, the 17-year-old suspect attempted to flee the scene on foot. However, his escape was cut short when he fell and broke his leg. Law enforcement officers quickly located and apprehended him in a cul-de-sac just a few hundred meters from the crime scene. During his arrest, the suspect reportedly verbally abused the officers.
The weapon, a knife, was secured at the scene of the incident. According to information obtained by NDR, a friend of the suspect allegedly attempted to conceal the knife before police arrived. The motive behind the dispute remains unclear at this stage of the investigation.
