Federal Police Arrest Duo After Joint Assault in Berlin Central Station

Berlin, January 19 – Federal Police arrested two men on Sunday morning after they allegedly jointly beat and kicked a man at Berlin Central Station. The incident occurred around 6 AM, when two men reportedly attacked a traveler without provocation.

The victim, a 30-year-old Syrian national, independently reported the incident to the Federal Police. He sustained minor injuries to his face but declined medical treatment from emergency services.

Swift Police Action Leads to Arrests

Upon receiving the report, law enforcement immediately initiated a search operation. Officers successfully located and apprehended the two alleged assailants in a fast-food restaurant within Berlin Central Station. Both individuals were taken into custody for further processing at the police station.

The Federal Police have initiated criminal proceedings against the two German nationals, aged 21 and 28, on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. Following the completion of police procedures, both men were released.
