Volkswagen Group Extends Partnership with New National Gallery and Hamburger Bahnhof

Berlin, March 24, 2026 – The Volkswagen Group has announced the two-year extension of its partnerships with the New National Gallery and Hamburger Bahnhof – National Gallery of Contemporary Art. These collaborations, which began in 2012, aim to enhance the accessibility of cultural content through various initiatives, including free or reduced admission, guided tours, educational programs, and special events.

“Volkswagen Group Art4All” Continues to Thrive

A central component of this extended partnership is the continuation of the successful “Volkswagen Group Art4All” format. This initiative has garnered significant public interest, with approximately 400,000 people utilizing its offerings in 2025 alone. The program focuses on making art and culture more accessible to a broader audience.

Marion Ackermann, President of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation (SPK), expressed gratitude for the continued support: “We sincerely thank the Volkswagen Group for their sponsorship. It opens the doors to art for visitors and sustainably supports the dissemination of education and culture. The participation of many people from diverse backgrounds also strengthens cohesion in our democracy.”

New National Gallery to Launch “Art4All” on April 2

Starting April 2, the New National Gallery will kick off its “Art4All” program, offering free admission and an extended program every first Thursday of the month from 4 PM to 8 PM. The inaugural event on April 2 will feature a free concert at 8 PM with pianist David Kadouch, who will perform works by Erik Satie in the context of the Brancusi exhibition.

Volkswagen Group as “Lead Partner of Education” for Hamburger Bahnhof

The Volkswagen Group will also continue its role as the “Lead Partner of Education” for Hamburger Bahnhof. This commitment will support the museum’s educational and outreach efforts, providing free access to programs for visitors, families, and schools. Additionally, the company will sponsor the museum’s annual Open House days.

The extended partnerships underscore the Volkswagen Group’s dedication to cultural engagement and its commitment to making art and education more widely available to the public. These collaborations are seen as vital for fostering cultural participation and strengthening community bonds within the arts sector.
