Berlin-Mariendorf, August 25 – An elderly man in Berlin-Mariendorf was the victim of an armed robbery in his apartment yesterday evening, August 24, 2026. Two masked individuals, reportedly armed with firearms, forced their way into the 73-year-old’s home on Kurfürstenstraße and demanded valuables. The victim was left physically unharmed.

Details of the Incident

According to initial police reports, the incident occurred around 7:00 PM. The two masked perpetrators rang the doorbell of the 73-year-old’s apartment. When the resident opened the door, the suspects immediately pushed their way inside.

Once inside, the robbers, who were allegedly carrying firearms, forced the elderly man into an armchair. They then proceeded to search the apartment for valuables. After securing an unspecified amount of items, the perpetrators fled the scene in an unknown direction.
