Drink plenty of fluids. Take care of yourselves and others.”

Nouripour confirmed earlier announcements that the dome and roof of the Reichstag building would remain closed to visitors throughout the weekend. “I have bad news for all who are listening,” he said. “We must completely close the roof of the high house to visitors this weekend, including the dome, because the heat warning is so severe that we cannot allow anyone up there for health protection reasons.”
The German Weather Service forecasts daily high temperatures of up to 41 degrees Celsius for Saturday and Sunday in Berlin, with only light winds and no cloud cover. The Bundestag administration had previously announced the closure of the dome in anticipation of these extreme conditions.
