Charli XCX to Host Exclusive Listening Party in Berlin for New Album
Berlin, July 8 – Pop superstar Charli XCX (33) is building anticipation for her seventh studio album, “Music, Fashion, Film,” with a series of exclusive global listening sessions. Fans in Berlin will have the opportunity to hear the new material before its official release on July 24.
Global Event Series Kicks Off
The British musician has scheduled 25 listening parties worldwide, taking place from July 9 to 11 in independent cinemas. These events offer a unique chance for fans to experience the album ahead of its general availability. Berlin is among the European cities selected to host one of these sessions, alongside London, Manchester, Madrid, Milan, Brussels, Amsterdam, Dublin, and Paris. Further events are planned for São Paulo, Mexico City, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland.
Fans interested in attending the Berlin event, or any other location, can register via Charli XCX’s official website, where all relevant dates and information are provided.
“Music, Fashion, Film” Set for July 24 Release
Charli XCX made the surprise announcement of her new album on Instagram in early June. The album cover features a black-and-white photograph of John Cale, Marc Jacobs, and Martin Scorsese, symbolizing the three thematic elements of the album’s title: music, fashion, and film.
“My new album Music, Fashion, Film will be released on July 24. Eleven songs, 30 minutes and five seconds,” Charli XCX stated in her post. Prior to the album’s full release, she has already unveiled three singles: “Rock Music,” “Wink Wink,” and “SS26.” The album’s title is derived from a lyric in the recently released track “SS26,” where she sings, “Nothing’s gonna save us, not music, fashion or film.”
Arena Tour to Follow in September
In addition to the listening sessions, Charli XCX has also announced a North American tour. The concert series is scheduled to commence on September 11 in Philadelphia and will include twelve shows, several of which will be arena performances. Notable stops include two concerts each at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Electro-artist Underscores is confirmed as the supporting act for the tour.
The listening party in Berlin provides a localized opportunity for fans to engage directly with the artist’s new work, reflecting a broader strategy to connect with her global audience prior to the album’s official launch and subsequent tour.
