This special provision allows Munich residents to reserve tables for the coveted weekend slots and the public holiday during the 2026 Oktoberfest. The allocation took place yesterday, Thursday, August 27th, from 4 PM to 8 PM, in the ballroom of Paulaner am Nockerberg. To secure a reservation, individuals had to appear in person and provide proof of their primary residence in Munich, typically via their ID card. A strict limit of one table per person was enforced.
David’s Vigil: “Since Midnight Here”
Among the multitude of patient hopefuls was David. He had been in line since midnight. A friend joined him around 1 AM.
