The official check handover ceremony took place yesterday, Monday, September 14, 2026, at 3:30 PM, at the Wirtshaus am Bavariapark. Twelve Organizations Receive Crucial Funding
This year, twelve social projects from twelve different non-profit organizations have been selected to receive funding. These initiatives primarily target the care and support of disadvantaged children and adolescents. The supported organizations include:

Historical Impact and Future Support
The Munich Wiesn Foundation was established by the Wiesn hosts and the breweries represented at the Oktoberfest. Its purpose is to support those in need and social institutions in Munich that care for them. Since its inception, the foundation has made a significant difference. As its first action in 2001, the foundation enabled the Munich Tafel to purchase a new delivery van. In subsequent years, the foundation supported initiatives such as providing breakfast for children in need, caring for traumatized children, and providing meals for elderly citizens.
The foundation regularly receives support from the Wiesn hosts, the Association of Munich Breweries e.V., and Stadtsparkasse München, whose contributions are crucial to the success of the foundation’s work.
